RainMaker's roots trace back to the 1980s, where our founder, Ken Adams, was key in securing business for Digital Equipment Corporation. Fortune 500 clients included Dow Chemical, Shell Oil, Chevron, Kodak, Scott Paper and British Petroleum.  This experience in marketing to "C" level executives laid the foundation for the concept of RainMaker.

RainMaker has a unique history. Founded in 1992 the company helped local businesses secure US Army defense contracts for manufacturing targeting circuitry in the Bradley fighting vehicle.  The group forged ahead, assisting the Chamber of Commerce in Decatur Alabama to attract industry to their new industrial / transportation hub. We helped the Chamber overcome the image of barefoot hillbillies and communicated the reality of a valuable, untapped industrial location where trucking, rail, air and water transportation all converged with an educated, skilled workforce. Our promotion of excellent education, recreational, restaurant, housing and shopping amenities for an enjoyable lifestyle appealed to relocating employees. Success was realized when Boeing was recruited, building a solid rocket booster plant and creating 500 new jobs for the city.

After these initial video projects, RainMaker experienced steady growth expanding its client base across Texas, including Halliburton, Infosys, NexGen Medical Group, Shell Oil, Sunbelt Reporting, Water 2 Wine Custom Wineries, Smoothie Factory, and several prestigious Texas law firms.  RainMaker has grown to 25+ associates.  Our staff brings an average of 14 years of experience in the marketing, educational and video production professions to every project.  This broad and in-depth expertise makes RainMaker unique in the marketplace.  Our clients realize results because our expertise goes much deeper than just technology.
